SUPPORT GROUPS

Support groups are carefully held spaces where people come together to share, reflect, and support one another in a safe and respectful environment.

The purpose of these groups is to create an emotional support network based on acceptance, empathy, respect, honesty, and mindful presence. Everyone is welcome as they are, without judgment or pressure.

To join a group, availability is required. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 10 participants, to ensure emotional safety and group cohesion. Before joining, participants are asked to complete a few questionnaires, sign a confidentiality agreement, and attend a short free interview with me. This process helps ensure the well-being and safety of everyone involved.

There are two types of groups, which will be specified in each announcement:

  • Open groups, where participants can attend without a long-term commitment and where group members may vary from session to session.
  • Closed groups, where a specific number of participants commit to attending for a set period of time. Once the group begins, no new members are added.

Support groups offer an opportunity to build connection, feel accompanied, learn through shared experiences, and explore new ways of relating to what we are going through. Sharing is always an invitation, never an obligation. Each person chooses how much and in what way they participate, respecting their own pace.

Group sessions last 1.5 hours. During the sessions, a beverage such as water or tea is provided, along with any necessary materials.

If you are looking for a specific type of group that is not currently listed, feel free to contact me and explain your needs. We can explore the possibility of creating a new group.
